On Tuesday 24th October, the British Chamber of Commerce in China will hold its
Annual General Meeting. During the meeting there will be a presentation of the
Annual Report, Annual Accounts, and importantly the election of the Executive
Committee. Drinks will be served from 5.00 pm and the AGM will formally start at
5.30 pm with an opening speech by HM Ambassador William Ehrman. There will be a
buffet reception following the conclusion of AGM business.
As ever, the BCCC needs a strong and active Executive Committee to ensure that it
continues to have an offer that adds value to all members. If you feel that you
have something to contribute to the Chamber and are willing to put in some time and
effort to ensure that the Chamber is vibrant, dynamic and ¡®value adding¡¯ why not
stand for the Committee? Committee membership is open to all Corporate and
Individual Members.
Enclosed is a formal invitation letter for nomination of candidates for election to
the Executive Committee and a nomination form. Please read these carefully and if
you have any questions about what being a committee member entails then please feel
free to contact me, or any of the other Executive Committee members.
