The Chinese Graduate Fair 2006

Would you like to recruit highly skilled graduates who have studied internationally
into your company? The University of Manchester is launching an exciting new
recruitment fair in partnership with NCUK (Northern Consortium UK) enabling
organisations to meet with up to 2500 Chinese students studying at The University
of Manchester and other NCUK universities across the UK. The Chinese Graduate Fair
will take place in Manchester, UK on 6th December, 2006.

Over 1,500 Chinese students currently study at The University of Manchester across
degree disciplines from Finance & Business to Science & Engineering. Students study
both undergraduate and postgraduate courses and many of our postgraduates have
previous work experience in China.

In partnership with NCUK (Northern Consortium UK), another 1,000 Chinese students
from universities across the UK will also be invited to attend the fair.

Benefits to you

Many of our Chinese students look to return home to China to begin their career.
NCUK universities programmes include strong vocational content, and are regularly
updated in consultation with employers. Innovative teaching methods also give our
graduates both the intellectual and practical skills to prepare them for employment.

With mentoring programmes, skills development workshops, work placements and
volunteering, our international students receive many opportunities to grow their
potential and understanding of the world of work.

Quotes

"We are already seeing the benefits of working with international students. They
have a strong work ethic, are extremely bright and flexible and have a desire to
use and expand their knowledge. As a company whose primary product source is
worldwide, we see the mutual benefits of the broader skills and experience
international students can offer. NCUK are extremely professional in their
approach and we have been most impressed with the support they give to both the
Company and the students."
Kathy Parish, HR Manager, Kingsland Wines & Spirits.

"We regularly attend the recruitment fairs at The University of Manchester. They
provide an excellent way to meet with a wealth of diverse yet focused talent and
the events are always professionally organised. The Chinese Graduate Fair will
provide an excellent way for organisations to communicate their opportunities to
students from China."
Adele Cunningham, Graduate Recruitment, Pricewaterhouse Coopers
