Human Resource issues are a pressing concern for many companies currently operating
in China. Recruiting, managing and retaining talented employees is proving
an even bigger challenge. To help address these growing concerns the British
Chamber of Commerce in China (BCCC) will be launching a new Human Resources Forum
on Thursday, 27th July.
Chaired by Susan Derkach, Senior Consultant with Hewitt Associates, Beijing, the HR
Forum will serve as a platform for BCCC members to address and discuss their HR-
related concerns, specific to managing their workforces in China. The Forum would
be a venue for members to find solutions as well as provide solutions to other
member companies within BCCC. It would also provide an opportunity to form lobby
coalitions, and special interest groups on current topics. The objectives of this
forum are to provide a venue for HR information to be shared among members and to
provide an additional opportunity for member networking, with a focus on HR.
Places are limited, and will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis.
Please kindly fill in the short questionnaire attached when you
register, so that we can collate the information for all attendees and
provide a short introduction to all the ideas at the beginning of the event.
To guarantee your place please send Eva Zhou your completed registration form by
12pm noon on Tuesday, 25th July to
britcham@pek.britcham.org,
F (010) 8525 1100, T (010) 8525 1111 ext. 707
